In commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the House of Mexico, this photographic exhibition, aims to celebrate and honor all those who have crossed the threshold of this special place.

The journey towards realizing dreams and seeking personal growth often takes us far from home. In this project, bravery and discipline manifest themselves in every resident who has ever passed through this building. Here, community and a sense of family are nurtured, where conversations, debates, and friendships flourish.
Through intimate portraits of the current residents, captured by Sared Ramírez's camera, we explore life within the rooms, where stories and friendships intertwine in an atmosphere of community and learning.
Fascinated by the design of the house and its significant modernist and functional influence, María José Vasconcelos showcases the building and its facilities through her lens. These photographs immerse us in the architecture that has been a fundamental part of this house for seven decades.

La Maison du Mexique was inaugurated on October 8, 1953, under the vision of architect Jorge Medellín, a talent trained at UNAM, Mexico. Casa de México has been a home for thousands of students, researchers, and artists from Mexico and around the world over time, some of whom have left an indelible mark. Today, the house serves as a refuge for approximately 100 young people from various nationalities and fields of study, each with immense potential.
