… gave me the opportunity to learn about my mother's history and roots, those that I had been searching for a long time. That journey left me with experiences and lessons that I would not change for anything.
Today, I can say that I am finally starting my own life, I am closing the chapter of being "the daughter of" to build my individuality and my own identity. This installation: "Immersive Window" represents the past that is visible but not tangible, a window to the interior that is built like a puzzle of memories, imperfect and incomplete like memory itself, affected by time. Through the recreation of your bedroom (the past), and the creation of a new one, my own room (the present and future).
